El Da Sensei is an American rapper born as William E. Williams on 24 June 1972
in Newark, New Jersey. He achieved professional recognition in the 1990s as a
member of the hip-hop duo Artifacts. His recording career with the group
includes the studio recordings Between a Rock and a Hard Place (1994) and That's
Them (1997). After the duo became inactive, he established a solo career and
