Egotronic is an electropunk band from Germany that was founded in 2001. Stylistically, the band combines electronic sounds with rough spoken vocals. In the beginning, Egotronic produced their music themselves. To this end, they infuse their punk music with typical sounds from computer games based on the sound worlds of the cult computer C64 or the Game Boy.
