Edyta Górniak
Edyta Anna Górniak, born on November 14, 1972, in Ziębice, Poland, is a Polish
singer and songwriter. She began her career as a musical theatre actress in
1990, performing in the Tony Award-nominated Metro, which was also shown on
Broadway. Górniak's breakthrough moment came in 1994 when she represented Poland
in the Eurovision Song Contest with "To nie ja", finishing as a runner-up, which
remains Poland's best result at the competition. This success launched her
decades-long career as a pop singer both nationally and internationally. Górniak
