EDOUARD DULEU
Édouard Duleu, born on April 21, 1909 in Wattrelos, France, was an accordionist
and composer. He began his musical training at age eleven under Charles
Verstraete père. In the 1930s, Duleu moved to Paris and worked as a firefighter.
During World War II, he relocated to Toulouse and gained recognition through
popular dance events. Upon returning to Paris, he signed with Philips Records
and released recordings such as Trompette-Musette and Marianne. Duleu settled in
Gauré in 1954 and was friends with notable figures such as Georges Brassens. His
