Edin Karamazov, born in 1965 in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a lutist.
After studying the lute with Hopkinson Smith at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis,
Karamazov collaborated with early music ensembles such as Hespèrion XX and
L'Arpeggiata, as well as the Hilliard Ensemble and the Orpheus Chamber
Orchestra. His recordings include the solo albums Come, Heavy Sleep (2004) and
Concerto in Dialogo (2004). His collaboration with Sting on the lute songs of
John Dowland led to the album Songs from the Labyrinth (2006) and the live CD
