Ebenezer Remilekun Aremu Olasupo Obey-Fabiyi, known professionally as Ebenezer
Obey, was born on April 3, 1942, in Idogo, British Nigeria. He began his
professional career in the mid-1950s after moving to Lagos and training under
Fatai Rolling-Dollar's band. In 1964, he formed The International Brothers, a
highlife-jùjú fusion band that later evolved into Inter-Reformers. Obey released
numerous albums with West African Decca, including Je Ka Jo (1983) and My Vision
