Dzem
Dżem is a Polish blues-rock band formed in Tychy in 1973. The group became
closely associated with vocalist Ryszard Riedel, alongside members including
Adam Otręba (guitar) and Benedykt “Beno” Otręba (bass). The band initially used
the name Jam, referring to musical jamming, before the Polish spelling Dżem
appeared in 1974. The band achieved major success with albums such as Cegła
(1985), featuring signature songs including “Czerwony jak cegła” and “Whisky”.
