D'Sound
D'Sound, a Norwegian R&B, jazz and funk band based in Oslo, was formed in 1993.
The original lineup included lead vocalist Simone Eriksrud (born Larsen),
bassist Jonny Sjo, and drummer Kim Ofstad. Their debut album was Spice of Life
(1997). Their second album, Beauty Is a Blessing (1998), won the Spellemannpris
for Best Norwegian Pop Group and achieved platinum certification in Norway. In
2003, D'Sound released their fourth studio album, Doublehearted, following up
