Dries Roelvink

Andries Roelvink, born in 1959 in Amsterdam, is a Dutch singer associated with the Levenslied genre. Raised in the Jordaan, he won a talent contest in 1985 and landed a record deal two years later, and his early charting singles included "Jij bent mijn alles" (1992) and "Maria Magdalena" (1993). He issued the albums Door jou ga ik leven (1994) and Bij schemerlicht (1995), while his autobiographical 2008 film I Love Dries saw him play himself in the lead role.
