Dorsal Atlântica
Dorsal Atlântica is a Brazilian thrash metal band founded in Rio de Janeiro in
1981 by Carlos Lopes and his brother Cláudio Lopes. Initially known as Ness,
they released their first demo in 1982 and a split album titled Ultimatum with
Metalmorphose in 1985. In 1986, the band released their debut album Antes do
fim. Notable releases included Dividir & conquistar (1988), Searching for the
Light (1990), and Musical Guide from Stellium (1992). They performed with bands
