Donald Glen Rigsby, born on February 18, 1968, in Isonville, Kentucky, is an
American multi-instrumentalist and producer known for his contributions to
bluegrass music. Rigsby's musical journey began at age five when he learned to
sing from a tape of Ralph Stanley singing "Hills of Home" and "Little Maggie".
He later befriended Ricky Skaggs and Keith Whitley, learning guitar, fiddle,
dulcimer, and mandolin.
Rigsby joined the Lonesome River Band after Dan Tyminski left, appearing on the
albums One Step Forward (1996), Finding the Way (1998), and Talkin' to Myself
