Donald Eric Partridge, known professionally as Don Partridge, was born on 27
October 1941 in Bournemouth, England. He began his musical journey in the early
1960s as a folk singer and busker, performing in London and Europe before
transitioning to street performances with fellow guitarist Alan Young. In 1968,
he signed with Columbia Records after gaining attention for his one-man band
