Doldrums
Airick Asher Woodhead is a Canadian electronic singer, producer, and visual
artist known under the moniker Doldrums. Woodhead began releasing home
recordings in 2010, gaining attention with a cover of the Portishead song “Chase
the Tear” and the EP Empire Sound (2011). In 2013, the artist issued the debut
album Lesser Evil on Arbutus Records, followed by The Air Conditioned Nightmare
(2015) on Sub Pop, and Esc (2017) on Endless. Throughout this period, Woodhead
