DK was a Soviet underground rock band from Moscow that was active between 1980
and 1990. Founded by drummer and leader Sergey Zharikov, the group is known for
its experimental sound that blended blues rock, free jazz, and rock with
satirical lyrics critical of the Soviet regime. DK's first album, Best Sofa Bed
Sounds, was released in 1983. The band released around 40 albums between 1980
and 1990, including notable works like Black Ribbon (1988) and Lyrics (1995).
