DJ Jean
DJ Jean, born Jan Engelaar on May 7, 1968 in the Netherlands, is a DJ and
producer of electronic music. His career began in 1989 when he won the Dutch
mixing and scratching championship. Following this breakthrough, DJ Jean started
performing in various clubs and gained prominence as a live DJ at Amsterdam's iT
nightclub. In 1999, he achieved international success with his debut album The
Launch, which featured the single "Get Ready for the Launch" performed by
