DJ Food is an iconic British electronic music project, originally conceived in
1990 by Coldcut members Matt Black and Jonathan More on the independent Ninja
Tune label. In its early days, DJ Food was a collective comprising Matt Black,
Jonathan More, Patrick Carpenter (aka PC) and Kevin Foakes (aka Strictly Kev).
Over time, the project came to revolve around Strictly Kev, who is now its main
