Displacer
Michael Morton is a Toronto, Ontario-based electronic musician recording under
the solo project name Displacer. His debut recording was the track "Deep"
(2003), which appeared on the Mute Records compilation Pre-Set New Electronic
Music. He subsequently signed with the Paris-based label M-Tronic Records,
releasing the albums Moon_Phase (2003), Arroyo (2004), and Cage Fighter's
Lullaby (2006). In 2008, he joined the Chicago-based label Tympanik Audio,
issuing the albums The Witching Hour (2008), X Was Never Like This... (2009),
and Night Gallery (2011), followed by Foundation (201...
