Moon Boots is the stage name of Peter Dougherty, an American DJ and music
producer. Born June 27, 1984 in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, Dougherty studied
music at Princeton University before relocating to Chicago, where he performed
as keyboardist for the band Hey Champ. Transitioning to a solo career, the
producer released the debut single “Off My Mind / Gopher It” (2011) on the
French Express label, followed by the single “Sugar” (2012). The debut studio
album, First Landing (2017), released under the Anjunadeep label, reached the
Number 1 spot on the NACC Electronic Album chart....
