Dig
Dig is an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in
1991 by Scott Hackwith, alongside drummer Anthony Smedile, guitarist Jon Morris,
guitarist Johnny Cornwell, and bassist Phil Friedmann. The band’s early
independent release, the Runt EP (1992), introduced a four‑guitar sound that
foreshadowed their shoegaze influences. In 1993, after signing with Radioactive
Records, Dig issued their self‑titled album Dig; the single "Believe" reached
