Denis Cuspert was a German rapper and Islamic State member who was born in West Berlin in 1975. He achieved early professional recognition in 1995 and is famous for his gangsta rap career under the moniker Deso Dogg and for his subsequent role as a leading jihadist propagandist. Cuspert was a member of the ensemble 030 Gangxta Clicc and toured with the American rapper DMX in 2006.
