DJ, remixer, producer, label creator and manager, Derrick Carter has been making his mark on electro for over twenty years. A pioneer of Chicago house, he enjoyed success right from the start with the Symbols & Instruments EP (1989), and was a fixture on the nights of the Windy City. In 1995, he set up the Classic label with Luke Solomon, producing a host of artists and releasing his creations under his own name or under aliases such as Rednail ("I Think of You").
