David Stypka, born July 21, 1979, in Frýdek-Místek, Czech Republic, was a Czech
singer known for his work in pop rock and jazz rock. After graduating from
grammar school in Frýdek, he initially worked as a journalist and later
transitioned into graphic design. His musical career began with performing in
the band David Stypka and Bandjeez. Stypka was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
in the summer of 2019. He passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 41, due
to complications associated with COVID-19 during the pandemic.
