David Myles
David Patrick Thomas Myles was born on May 12, 1981, in Fredericton, New
Brunswick. He began playing trumpet at age ten and later learned guitar during a
2001 exchange program in China, which sparked his interest in songwriting. Myles
released his debut album, Together and Alone, in 2005 after moving to Calgary,
Alberta. He returned to Halifax, Nova Scotia, in 2006 and released his second
album, Things Have Changed, which earned him two Music Nova Scotia Awards and
nominations for the 2007 Canadian Folk Music Best New Artist Award and the East
