Pierre David Guetta was born in Paris on November 7, 1967. He started out as a nightclub DJ, while studying law at university. Inspired by British house music, his reputation in the French capital gradually grew, until he became one of the leading figures of Parisian nightlife, running several clubs with his wife Cathy Guetta, including Le Palace and Les Bains Douches.
