Dave Bass
Dave Bass is an American jazz pianist, composer and arranger born in 1950 in
Cincinnati, Ohio. Born David Ira Bass, he began his musical training on the
piano at age seven and toured internationally with the singer Brenda Lee between
1974 and 1975. After relocating to San Francisco, he performed with musicians
including Bobby McFerrin and Jackie Ryan. Bass moved to Maui in 1981 and served
as the entertainment director for the Royal Lahaina Resort before returning to
