Darina Victry
Darina Victry, born Darina Jeanne Elandi Mballa on March 29, 2002 in Yaoundé, is
a Cameroonian singer-songwriter. From childhood, she was influenced by her
musician father and joined the church choir. In 2017, she won the Challenge
vacances, a national talent contest. In 2019, while a corporate communications
student, she was spotted by comedian Moustik le Karismatik, who signed her to
his Moustik'Air label. In November 2019, she released the song"Laisse moi
t'aimer", a huge hit that racked up over 40 million views on YouTube and became
a wedding anthem in French-speaking Africa....
