Dara MacLean
Dara Joy Maclean, also known as Dara Maclean, born on May 19, 1986, in Miami,
Florida, is an American contemporary Christian singer-songwriter. Raised in Fort
Worth, Texas, from the age of eight, she began singing at eight and started
playing guitar and writing songs at thirteen. Her first full-length studio
album, You Got My Attention, was released in 2011 under Fervent Records. The
album included the single "Suitcases". Maclean followed up with the EP Bethlehem
Skies in 2012 and her second full-length album, Wanted, in 2013. Notable singles
