Daniel Johannsen
Daniel Johannsen, born on July 22, 1978, in Vienna, Austria, is an operatic
tenor. He began his musical education at the age of seven as a piano student and
later studied church music at the Vienna University of Music and Performing
Arts. Johannsen's debut as the Evangelist in Bach's Christmas Oratorio took
place in December 1998. His career includes notable roles such as Tamino in
Mozart's The Magic Flute at the Munich State Theatre at Gärtnerplatz and
Pedrillo/Belmonte in Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail at the Ludwigsburg
