Daniel Hůlka, born Daniel Hulka on June 1, 1968, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, is
an actor and baritone known for his performances in musical theatre, film, and
opera. He studied at the Prague Conservatory and briefly at the Academy of
Performing Arts. Hůlka's breakthrough came with his portrayal of the title role
in Karel Svoboda's 1995 musical Dracula. His career flourished as he took on
leading roles in various operas, including Escamilio in Georges Bizet’s Carmen
