Best known as an actor and TV presenter, Damien Lewis – born February 11, 1971,
in St. John’s Wood, London, England – is also a singer, songwriter, and
musician. He began acting in the early 1990s and appeared on both television –
movies such as Micky Love (1993), Warriors (1999) and guest starring on several
series including Agatha Christie’s Poirot (1995) and Life Force (2000) – as well
as theater productions. Although he made his film debut in Robinson Crusoe
(1997), he didn’t come to prominence until his role in the 2001 miniseries Band
