Dallas Crane, an Australian pop‑rock group formed in Melbourne in 1996, began
with members Chris Brodie, Dave Larkin, Pete Satchell and Shan Vanderwert. Their
first self‑released album Lent (1998) was produced locally and introduced the
band to the Melbourne pub circuit. The breakthrough came with the 2000 release
of Twenty Four Seven, recorded at Hothouse Studios and produced by Craig
Harnath, which spawned the single "Sit on My Knee" that entered high rotation on
Triple J and peaked at Number 14 on the ARIA Singles Chart in July 2005. In
