D&D
D&D, an abbreviation for Dance & Dream, was a Japanese female vocal and dance
group formed in 1996 in Okinawa. The ensemble consisted of members Olivia
Lufkin, Chikano Higa, and Aya Uehara, who were students at the Okinawa Actors
School. The group debuted on the avex trax label with the 1996 single “In Your
Eyes”, followed by the successful release “Love Is a Melody”. Their only studio
album, Love Is a Melody D&D Memorial 1st, was released on March 18, 1998, and
reached number 5 on the Oricon sales charts. In 1998, Lufkin left the group to
