Curve was an English alternative rock and electronic music duo from London,
formed in 1990. The band consisted of Toni Halliday (vocals) and Dean Garcia
(bass, guitar, drums, programming). Halliday and Garcia first met through Dave
Stewart of Eurythmics and initially formed a short-lived group named State of
Play before reuniting as Curve. Their breakthrough came with the release of
three acclaimed EPs—Blindfold, Frozen, and Cherry—in 1991, which led to their
debut studio album, Doppelgänger, in February 1992.
