Trailblazing metalcore outfit Converge emerged from the Boston underground scene
in the early 1990s with their jazz-infused calisthenics and hardcore punk
attitude. Founded in Salem, Massachusetts, by lead vocalist Jacob Bannon and
guitarist Kurt Ballou in 1990, the group's lineup was completed with the
addition of bassist Jeff Feinburg and drummer Damon Bellorado. After a series of
