Formed in Brasschaat, Belgium in 1988, Confetti’s was a short-lived band that
helped usher in the Belgian new beat movement which blended new wave, hi-NRG,
hip-hop, and Electronic Body Music (EBM). Created by producers Serge Ramaekers
(a.k.a. Sir-G) and Dominique Sas and named after the club from which the members
frequented, the original group featured vocalist Peter Renkens and dancers – and
club patrons - Marleen, Tania, Hilde, and Daniëlla. Their first single, “The
