Coffee
Coffee was an American female disco vocal trio consisting of singers Elaine
Sims, Gwen Hester, and Dee Dee Bryant. Formed in Detroit in 1973 before moving
to Chicago, the group rose to prominence during the disco era in the early 1980s
after signing with De-Lite Records. The group achieved national fame in 1980
with their debut album, Slippin' and Dippin', produced by Clarence Johnson and
Riccardo Williams. Their hit single, “Casanova”—a disco cover of Ruby Andrews’
