Claude Dubois

Born on April 24, 1947, in Montreal, Quebec, Claude Dubois is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter. At age twelve, he recorded his first album, Stampede canadien (1959), with the western group Les Montagnards. At seventeen, he became the resident singer at the Patriote nightclub in Montreal. His early recordings included “Belle famille” and “J'ai souvenir encore”. During a stay in France from 1970 to 1971, he released his fifth studio album, Dubois, under the direction of French arranger François Rauber.
