Claire Anne Daly, born February 26, 1958, in Bronxville, New York, was an
American baritone saxophonist and composer. She began playing saxophone at age
12 and attended Berklee College of Music, graduating in 1980. After moving to
New York City in 1985, she started her career as a freelance baritone
saxophonist. Daly's debut album as a leader, Swing Low, was released in 1999 and
later installed in the Clinton Presidential Center. She toured extensively with
