Churo Diaz
Jorge Iván Díaz Lafaurie, born May 29, 1983, is a Colombian vocalist known
professionally as Churo Díaz. Son of vallenato singer Adanies Díaz, he emerged
as a prominent figure in the Nueva Ola del Vallenato. His breakthrough occurred
in 2004 after teaming with Iván Zuleta to release Talento Y Juventud, featuring
the track “De Ti Me Gusta Todo”. He collaborated with Eimar Martínez on A Mi
Manera (2006), which included the song “Lo Que Quieras Tú”, and Esta Es La Forma
(2007). The 2009 album A Paso Firme, La Sociedad produced popular tracks such as
“La Carta” and “Que Tal, Que Tal”...
