Christopher Young
Christopher Young, born April 28, 1958, in Red Bank, New Jersey, United States,
is an American film and television score composer. He earned a Bachelor of Arts
in music from Hampshire College and completed postgraduate studies at the
University of North Texas before moving to Los Angeles in 1980. A jazz drummer
originally, he transitioned to film composition after hearing the works of
Bernard Herrmann and studying under David Raksin at the UCLA Film School. He
achieved recognition for scoring horror and thriller films, beginning with
Hellraiser in 1987, which won the Saturn Award...
