Chris Constantinou is an English bassist and backing vocalist who was born in
London, England. He achieved professional recognition as the bass guitarist and
backing vocalist for Adam Ant and is famous for his work with the musical
supergroup The Mutants and for his career under the pseudonym Chris De Niro. He
moved to Plymouth at age three and started his career as a bass player for Diz
Watson before forming the rock band the Drill in 1977. The Drill signed to RCA
