Australian Singer-songwriter, Cheryline Ernestine Lim (known as Che'Nelle) was born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia on March 10, 1982. Moving to Perth, Western Australia when she was ten years old, she began singing in her father’s karaoke lounge, soon moving onto writing and producing her own music and uploading it onto social media platforms. In 2005 she was discovered by music industry veteran Sir Charles Dixon who introduced her to major label representatives, seeing her sign a six-album deal with Virgin Records by the end of the year.
