Sarah Chen (also known as Chen Shu-hua) is a Taiwanese singer. She was born on
May 14, 1958 in Taipei, Taiwan. She started releasing music in the mid-late
1960s, with her first album 水車姑娘/忘也忘不了 coming out in 1967. In the 1970s and
1980s, Sarah Chen released a series of notable albums such as Love Is Her Name
(1982) and The Right to Sing (1982). However, she reached the peak of her
popularity during the late 1980s and early 1990s, with releases such as The
