Cheema Y
Cheema Y is a Punjabi rapper and singer-songwriter based in Canada, known for a
close creative partnership with producer Gur Sidhu. After moving from India to
Canada for studies, he began releasing music in 2020 and developed a style built
around Punjabi street rap, hip-hop beats and direct, youth-focused writing. His
wider catalog took shape in 2023 with ANYWAY, a collaborative album with Gur
Sidhu released through Brown Town Music, followed the same year by the EP
