Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer
Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer are an American musical duo, activists, educators, and
married couple. Cathy Fink began her career in Canada during the early 1970s
performing folk music in coffeehouses. She released her recording debut with
Duck Donald in 1975. Marcy Marxer grew up in Swartz Creek, Michigan, learning
guitar, mandolin, hammered dulcimer and button accordion while still in high
school. The duo met at the Mariposa Folk Festival in Toronto, Canada, in 1980
