Cass McCombs, born on November 13, 1977, in Concord, California, is an American
musician known for his roles as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and pianist. He
began performing with various groups in the San Francisco Bay Area during the
1990s. In 2001, McCombs moved to San Francisco and released his debut EP, Not
the Way, through Monitor Records. His first full-length album, A, was published
in 2003, followed by a Peel Session for John Peel. Cass McCombs toured
