Carmen Cavallaro, born on May 6, 1913, in New York City, New York, United States, was an American pianist. He began playing piano at age three and studied classical piano before touring Europe as a young performer. In 1933, he joined Al Kavelin's orchestra, becoming the featured soloist. He later worked with Rudy Vallee and formed his own band in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1939, which expanded into a 14-piece orchestra.
