Carlo Alberto Rossi, born August 30, 1921, in Rimini, Italy, was a composer and
record producer. He began his career as a child actor and singer in operettas.
In 1936, he moved to Milan, where he studied at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory.
Rossi made his professional debut as a songwriter with "Tango di Manuelita" in
1939. Post-war, his early hits included Natalino Otto’s "Conosci mia cugina" and
Lidia Martorana's "Amore baciami". In 1949, he co-founded Ariston Group. Rossi
