Carl Broemel, born January 30, 1974 in Indianapolis, Indiana, is an American folk‑genre guitarist, saxophonist, pedal steel guitarist, and vocalist. After graduating from Pike High School, he joined the pop/rock group Old Pike and later the alternative pop/rock band Silvercrush, gaining early exposure to studio work and touring. In 2004 he released his debut solo album Lose What’s Left, followed by All Birds Say in 2010, which showcased his Nashville‑influenced sound.
