Capital Inicial
Capital Inicial are a Brazilian rock band formed in 1982 who have maintained a
successful career for over 30 years. Borne from the ashes of the disbanded
Aborto Elétrico, the band formed in the Brazilian capital of Brasilia and
continued to perform the blend of new-wave and post-punk for which their
previous incarnation became famed. Debut AA-single 'Descendo o Rio Nilo'/'Leve
Desespero' was released in 1984 and the latter was used in the film 'Areias
Escaldantes', and their self-titled debut followed in 1986.
